Strawberry and chocolate conchas with polvorones and a marranito

Garcia's Bakery is a neighborhood Mexican panadería. Grab a tray and tongs, pick your pan, and take home a bag that smells like morning.

    Panadería

    noun. /pa·na·de·ˈri·a/ [pah-nah-deh-REE-ah]

the place in the neighborhood that already smells like fresh bread at six in the morning.

Garcia's Bakery came to Diana Drive to give Northeast El Paso a panadería of its own: Mexican pan dulce baked every day, donuts, cakes, and a kitchen with menudo and tamales. Most pieces cost less than two dollars, and the café de olla is always on.

“Siempre muy amables y el lugar huele riquísimo.”

From a Google review · “Always very kind, and the place smells delicious.”
